Customer Services Representative
Responsibilities

The position has responsibility for taking/processing customers’ orders and to analyze and assist with solving customer problems, following established guidelines.
Scope
The scope of the position covers all types of orders and customers. The position is an important link with customers and requires sound product knowledge and an understanding of company policies, procedures and services.
Specific Responsibilities
- Respond to all customer needs in a polite but businesslike manner that will ensure customer satisfaction
- Provide pricing information as per customer queries
- Timely preparation of Pro-Forma Invoices and Quotations
- Price and label all items in the Display Area showing Item Key Number, Description, Price Before Tax and Price After Tax
- Provide information on product availability to customers
- Establish and maintain good communication and cooperation with and between all members of the merchandise and customer service team
- Ensure that Delta Supply Company Limited standards and procedures are respected at all times
- Provide feedback regarding possible bottlenecks in the customer service/merchandise areas
- Provide back-up and/or help to other team members as necessary
- Other duties that may be assigned from time to time
Working Relationships
- The position reports directly to the Customer Service/Merchandise Supervisor
- The Merchandise/Customer Service Representative shall maintain a good working relationship with all team members and members of other teams associated with the Merchandise Department.
Performance Appraisal
- The Merchandise/Customer Services Representative’s performance shall be measured in relation to agreed Company and Departmental Objectives as set out in the Staff Employee Performance Appraisal and Objective Setting Record and the extent to which the responsibilities set out in this Job Description are discharged and results achieved.
